Vitamin C (Calcium Ascorbate with bioflavanoids): stimulates the production of interferon (a virus killer).Take 1,000 mg once or twice a day.

Five Critical Steps To Take At The First Sign

Of A Cold or Flu 

#1.  Sleep as much as you can.  The more sleep you get the faster your body will heal.

#2.  Drink lots of water, at least 8-8 oz glasses in the day. The water will keep the mucus fluid so your body can expel it.

#3.  Don’t touch a single granule of refined sugar (things like cookies, cake, candies, ice cream, pop, chocolate, alcohol, etc) as sugar immediately depresses your immune system.

#4.  Avoid dairy products while you have a cold or flu, as dairy is a breeding ground for mucous and bacteria.

#5.  Do not take an antibiotic for a cold or flu.  Since both diseases are viral, antibiotics do nothing to conquer either (as antibiotics kill bacteria only, not viruses) – and as a matter of fact, antibiotics can actually be harmful.
